I subscribed to this list a few weeks ago because I'm moving towards more technical diving, and thought it would be a good source of information...as it has. However, I'm a little disappointed when everyone seems to take a lot of time and energy insulting each other, and serious questions don't get answered. Is the point of this list to spread valuable information that is going to be helpful and possibly save someone's life, or is it to insult 'THE MAN THEY LOVE TO HATE'? Everybody spent so much time insulting MJB (and maybe he even deserves it), but when David C. asks a very complicated and important question about gas percentages the answer isn't forthcoming. I realize this is all free advice, and I do appreciate it a great deal, but it makes it incredibly hard to get at the information when it's buried under so much trash.
