On the P weight, I made my mine on putting the bolt/washer assembly as Steve
did on his (see my web site) with it sitting in the bottom of the backplate
gully, but the hold down nut on the back can get in the way of a single tank
adapter or additional V weight.

You would have to drill a hole them for clearance. If I were to do it again
I would put the bolt/washer assembly in from the side of the gully rather
than directly on the back. The bolt/washer assembly will have no problem
holding the weight in place from the side.

By the way in case you are wondering, I called it a P weight as in "Polish V
weight."
