Subject: Re: Weights

Hi Paul,

If I can make a couple of suggestions...

First, carry the pony as a stage bottle. You'll have better valve
control, and you'll know which hose is coming over your shoulder.

Next, you can't use a v-weight without doubles. A v-weight sits between
the doubles.

For a single tank setup, I've had great success with an 11 lbs P-weight
that I made which sits in the groove between your back and your backplate.
A dive buddy posted the way I made it with pictures on his page.

If you want to make this, and have questions, just ask.

In a drysuit, you can get away with little ditchable weight. If your
wings fail, use your drysuit for buoyancy.

Hope that helps,
steve
