My sign-in falls into the catagory of not much applied experience in
technical diving, although my interests precipiate much interest and
research of that topic.  I was certified NAUI OW eleven years ago and
I rapidly learned that cold water is not for me.  Now that finances
have imporoved, I've taken up diving again, but now in warm climates.
I find the attitude change in the certifying agencies (especially the
most commonly named one) to be a sad occurrence, obviously driven by
a fear of lawyers...according to current definitions, I "became" a
technical diver during my original OW checkout dives with dives to 60ft.
Since then, I've been interested in staying within the sporting limits
and applying my photographic interests underwater...if anyone is selling
their used 15mm, let me know.  I hope to get some technical photography
information/skills from this new mailing list.
