Trey, I'm operating on the notion that everyone can change and that change is often good. If a result of this conversation is unrestricted and honest access to these cave diving accident reports then that has to be good. If a result of that is a more open and honest dialogue about technique, then that would have to be good. At some point people of good will have to be willing to sit down to talk and to do that some of the rancor has to be set aside. If there are bad practices at work, that will come out, but only if there is a dialogue. The "You suck," "No YOU suck" model of debate isn't getting anywhere I think. You have a diving system and it works. If the Hogarthians couldn't talk about it I would not have learned about it and might never have adopted the model. At some point, you adopted and adapted it.
