Joel, The IUCRR is the "organization" you are evidently referring to. I personally posted to the lists the Madison Blue double fatality, in which myself, Lamar Hires and Mike Bruic did the recovery. This was met with sheer abject stupidity, which I should have known would come. That was my first and last attempt to "inform" anyone that you think may need to know on these "lists". The Little River fatality that Lamar and I also did the recovery on was C.c. to the lists from the Recovery list. This report was also in U.W.S. , which you admit you don't subscribe to either news letter which the reports have been in. The IUCRR involves a huge number of people, not just here in Florida but throughout the world, all volunteers. The IUCRR just had a full day workshop on Memorial day to train divers in interview techniques, evidence gathering and discussed overall ethics. A large part of this was under the direct training of a Law Enforcement officer, (thanks Mike) who runs and trains police recovery teams. This workshop included regional co-ordinators from Germany, Italy and Australia to name a few. We then trained them in actual recovery techniques, on dry land, then applied in the water, in the cave, with an actual diver with various "cause of death" scenarios. Some of these very same newly trained divers then recovered another Little River fatality the day after this workshop. So Joel, what is the point you are trying to make ???? The only one I see is that you are somewhat out of the loop by your own admission and choice.
