Mike,

I think Bill may be referrring to the original Apex T50 (piston) 1st =
stage which was a silicone oil filled Mk10 copy (except for the lack a =
port in the end of the turret). I first saw these in Australia in about =
1991.=20

These things worked ok but the plastic cap on the end that held in the =
silicone oil used to always crack and leak.=20

The original T50 second stage was esssentially the same as the TX50 =
without the "heat transfer" sleeve located on the outlet port.

Bill
you are posting BS!
the "old"VX10 had never a SP-MK10 similar 1st (this was a piston!!) it =
had a=20
membrane 1st.
You can=B4t tell the difference between a piston 1st and a membrane,but =
know=20
what performs better?
The VX10 has currently the best performance in the market with a =
breathing=20
work
smaller than 1J/l (0,96/l exactly) That=B4s still second to none at the =
moment.
