The disconnect is made of red plastic and has two pieces that push =
together and you then twist them in order to 'lock' the connection. It =
seems that the plastic ridges that lock the two pieces together are not =
holding securely. I will have a look this evening to see if it has a =
manufacturers logo.

You can see a picture of it on this link under "Balanced P-Valve and =
Installation Tools"

http://www.extreme-exposure.com/pvalve/pvalve-manual-1.shtml

I had taken it off in order to rinse the whole assembly after my last =
dive, so it is possible that I didnt securely reconnect it. However, a =
dive buddy showed me another that had broken locking ridges and so would =
not hold together.

When comparing the two side by side, I noticed that the o-rings in the =
ends of the disconnects were slightly different sizes. As far as I know =
the differently sized o-rings are as supplied by EE.

if it is the disconnect that i specified, there is no way - i have no =
shrink tubing on any of mine.

I have been having problems with my Extreme Exposure balanced =
p-valve. The final connection (where the discharge tube joins the round =
plastic block that is glued to the drysuit) twisted and became detached. =
I removed the black plastic shrink wrap and re-connected it, but =
decided not to put wrap back on so I could inspect it before each dive. =

    =20
I now find that the connection has a tendency to twist open, and =
come off, with all the nasty side effects you would expect. I have seen =
the same problem with several other EE p-valves. Does anybody have a =
suggested solution ?
