This is just an idle thought... Since there is a lot of theoretical modeling that goes on in the tek side of the industry, and some of it is even checked against real life situations (e.g., Buhlmann et al), has anyone thought about trying to build physical structures (tissue) that would approximate human tissue? It would seem like -- in theory -- you could build a small box which contained synthetic tissues of varying densities that approximated the different tissues found in humans, and have sensors that can detect levels of saturation in the syntetic tissues. You take the box with you when you dive and you'd have a physical model of saturation. It would really shine on multi-level, bounced, multi-day dives... -- Robert -------------------------------------------- E-mail: RLaird@pe*.co* (Robert Laird) Phone : 713-627-4323 Fax: 713-989-3086 Houston, TX -------------------------------------------- 02/15/95 13:56:37
