Subject: Carrying Video gear

What's the consensus on carrying video gear?

I've checked the GUE site and there isn't a section on it.

I currently have a Gates housing for a PC100 and have attached a clip on 2ft
of 2cm webbing to the left handle, and another clip snug on the right
handle. The left clip goes to my left chest d ring and is long enough to
give a full range of motion. This is my primary attachment point. The right
handle clip I use to clip off onto the front crotch d ring. This keeps it
low down and out of the way when I want to do anything other than film.

The housing and camera is positively buoyant and I can just swing it over
onto my right hand side next to the canister light where it sits out of the
way.

I chose the left hand chest ring so as to not to get in the way of hose
routing. If you clip to the right chest ring and then clip it to the crotch
strap you are putting it over the hose.

Does this make sense to people? How do the WKPP videographers rig their
gear?

Thanks

Jerry
