MJB, as you do not agree with DIR as a serious diving system, please enlighten me as to which points are bad, 1. everyone using same wing/backplate/harness, same inflator retainer, same stage bottles, marked for MOD with owners name, doubles manifolded with good barrel type isolator( Scubapro,Sea Elite,Halcyon) marked with owners name. Interchangeable seconds,between hoses and buddies,same drysuits with same inflator connections, physical fitness,proper training,diet,hydration,attitude, calling a stroke a stroke,................... Oh sorry, MJB, I can see where you are coming from, were all "clones" and obviously have no free will.George actually put a gun to my head and said, "See here Irish, do it my way or I`ll make you dive with MJB". Now I have to admit, that was the decider for me.George is really cruel with his threats. I still live in fear that he might actually send Cobb here to drag my ass over there and inflict you on my poor Irish ass. Hey MJB, in your mans navy, the SEAL teams get to choose their weapons, personal preference you might say, I bet you they still have the same caliber, interchangeable etc etc. So you dont like DIR, well thats ok with me. I like it, I like most ppl on this list, especially the DIR guys and girls.Now here`s the thing MJB,if you want to dive deep air, bungeed wings,dual bladders,integrated computers, work away.Sooner or later you will acknowledge DIR, you will embrace it,you will dive DIR. You wont tell us, but you will do it, and you know what, you will find out that DIR is the only safe way to dive. The strange thing is, although you will continue with your rants, you will know, deep down, that DIR is the way.So maybe you should welch on MHK`s offer.
