Manos, helium is more expensive in Europe than in the US, the reason is that
Helium is produced in the US (Texas if i don�t remember wrong).  $360 sounds
very expensive though.  We used to have very expensive Helium here to but we
managed to negotiate a deal with our gas company.  The list price in Sweden
is about $150 but we get it a lot cheaper than that. There is no reason why
helium should be more expensive in Cyprus as everything else is a lot more
expensive in Sweden.
 Try to negotiate with your supplier. The best way is to get a few friends
together and negotiate as a group,that gives you more "power".  You can even
get free supply bottles and stuff. What is your gas company? Air Linde or
Air Liquid?  Avoid balloon grade,they don't guarantee purity on that stuff.
You don't need the purest Helium though, if it has 99% Helium and 1%
Nitrogen and they can guarantee
that it's good enough.

I know this is a bit off the topic but i
just wanna compare prices for He around the world.

So for a 50ltr of He at 200 Bars , purity 99.999
i pay� $$$ 360 for the gas and $$$ 50 for tank deposit.
( we have the flexibility to hold the tanks as long as we want )

Is it only here� so expensive ???
Or do you people buy ballon grade ?
