Probably the best thing I can say about John is to recount my first
conversation with him.  After learning about my skill level and
experience, he told me not to buy anything from him.  Wait, practice,
get wet as often as possible, then buy when you know exactly what you
want...  By the way, a bunch of us are doing a shore dive this weekend,
why not come along  (ie. dive with some experienced divers for free).
John is gregarious, and he is a salesman.  But most importantly, he is a
diver who cares.
I could be verbose, but I think this says it all.
