Hey y'all -- check your local listings of the PBS series NATURE for next weekend's broadcast of the program called "Springs Eternal", a new documentary about Florida's aquifer ecosystems. I got a preview copy as a result of helping with a few sequences and it's top-notch natural history filmmaking all the way. The show was produced by Shane and Lybby Moore (Moore and Moore Films) and shot in North and Central Florida, including locations in the Woodville Karst Plain and some offshore locations. Inspired by Brett Hemphill's production of Crystal Beach Cave Project, the filmmakers were convinced to film some amazing new sequences of Mike and Sherry Garman's discoveries near Tampa. It's great to see this kind of consciousness-raising environmental research broadcast around the world!
