George,
What in the world makes you think I care about what you say ?
What I posted is 100 % correct.
If you don't like being caught posting bullshit, then don't post.
We all know THAT won't happen, but who cares ?=20
Running down to your local shop and taking one apart is what you call=20
"Research".
How about going out and buying a set of calipers, Einstein.
LOL, sweetness.

Dell, this is bullshit . I have five Sea Elites and two old Dive =
Rites which you hoaky red necks sent to me in 200 bar because you =
"claimed" some assinine "liability" for putting 300 bar manifolds on a =
200 bar tank. My suspicion is that you got cut off and could not get the =
right stuff or were ignorant of the true specs of the device, or both . =
Did you pay your bill to the supplier?
=20
You also sent me the wrong center section and then were naive =
enough to think I am a moron ( good guess considering I was dumb enough =
to buy them form you in the first place) and told me that "there is =
only one center section" . Seems you have now found out otherwise years =
later - good progress, Dell - keep staying on the cutting edge, buddy. =
Or is this just deception? Both, in my opinon, since I went and got the =
right center section and put the things together on some aluminum 80's.
=20
On my 104's and 121's I have my Sea Elites and they all have and =
HAVE ALWAYS HAD the correct center section that allows me to use the =
CORRECT bands , the Highland Mill Works bands. I recall you drooling =
goobers pushing the tanks close together with that tiny set of Dive Rite =
bands and having them up against the bolt, and then getting on here like =
either a liar or a moron and telling everyone that the maniflods would =
only capture "one of the two o-rings" - Farm Animality as per the usual. =
=20
Dell, I am really sick of misinformation and bullshit, and Dive =
Rite is a MAJOR source of BOTH in my opinion. You are dead wrong here , =
and whether it is ignorance or outright deception, I do not care, it =
needs to stop. This is again a simple subject and you are screwing it =
up. =20
=20
Sea Elite has always been the way to go, and people want to hear =
from guys like me who know and have no vested interest.=20
=20
My advice to everyone is to go to Divers Supply or Extreme Exposure =
for this manifold: DS has always had it, and now EE has it. The =
difference betwen EE and a YOU is that Jablonski has always SENT his =
customers to DS to get the manifold but now does not have to since he =
has it. Why should anyone fool wih you and your constant baloney , =
excuses, and quick step shufle when you should have done the same thing? =

Subject: Manifold misinformation
=20
=20
The old Dive Rite and Sea Elite manifolds were one in the same, =
made in Italy and distributed to this country by Submarex. They simply =
had different finishes to distinguish between the two. These were =
available in 3/4 neck, 5/8 neck, 200 bar or 300 bar and any combination =
there of.
=20
The Thermo manifold is virtually identical in conceptual design, =
except there is two different forgings for the right and left "K". This =
allows them to have a true 8.5 center to center spacing for all new 8 =
inch dia. cylinders available today. These cylinders are actually =
greater than 8 inch dia. This requires true 8.5 spacing to allow for the =
5/16 bolt between the tanks. The old Dive Rite and Sea Elite did not =
allow for this (on newer cylinders) unless you used a 1/4 inch bolt =
between the tanks. Regardless of which tanks they are on, if you have =
more than 1/8 inch between the lock nut and body forging of the crossbar =
on one of these older manifolds, then you have most likely compromised =
the seal of the inside o-ring on the crossbar. This means your down to =
one barrel seal, not two.=20
The Thermo also uses a crush gasket on the bonnet nut instead =
of an o-ring. The Thermo is available through Seagate cylinders, which =
Dive Rite sourced them from. These should also be available in 300 bar =
before too long, or may be already.
=20
The new Sea-Elite is now a duplicate of the original Italian =
product but made in Asia. In past discussions with them, I assume they =
have addressed the 8.5 spacing issue.=20
=20
The new Dive Rite is still made in Italy, from the original =
forgings, with a longer crossbar to address the 8.5 spacing issue. These =
can easily be distinguished from the others because "Dive Rite" is =
embossed in the valve body and the number "100" is embossed in the =
crossbar body. These are available in 3/4 neck, 5/8 neck, 200 bar or 300 =
bar, and any combination there of.=20
