Eliminate the possible failure point of another gauge. Just look at THE spg
once you're isolated. If it's dropping, shut down that post. If not, shut
down the other post. I've had a few freeflows and failures in my day (yeah,
like I'm an old geezer!), and in all instances, I knew where it was coming
from before looking at any gauges...

I think the 2 spg thing comes from independent doubles. For me, the idea
came back in the day when a Cockring Nemesis II computer was all the rage.
Computer spg on primary post, backup analog spg on the other... Then (after
a good chunk of my money was gone) I realized how useless the computer was
and tossed it into the lagoon.

(Seriously, if you go dive the lagoon where Key West Diver used to be,
you'll find at least 10 old tanks, 4 or 5 trashed slobwinders, and a minimum
of 9 Cockring computers! Not to mention the Edmonds Scientific skeleton
Chris and I put under the dock wearing a bright pink mask, fins, and snork.
I just loved the look on student's faces when they'd finish a blackout drill
and put their mask back on next to the skeleton!)

Sorry for the screwed up font. Outlook won't let me change it unless I
compose an original message instead of reply.... Manos, why don't you just
use Times to begin with so everyone can read it?

In case of a rapid air loss and after isolating the two sides wouldn't
be easier to
identify from which side im leaking if i had 2 psg rather than having
only one ? ?

At the end of the day why not 2 ?

Manos
