Does the fact that "one atmosphere" suits and subs exist mean that we should all be using them? If expense and availability are not an issue then we really shouldn't be diving without one. Of course, it isn't reasonable that we all have one so this argument is silly. But it may also be unreasonable to obtain the safest technology at a given dive site. As with nearly everything, it's all a matter measuring and accepting risk. Devon
