Not dumbfuck at all. No matter how small any individual risk might seem, you got to balance risks against benefits - we got enough risks in tech diving without adding new ones. We know regs/valves occasionally combust, and that when a viton o-ringed reg does the diver (or anyone standing near if its on the surface) will get a whiff of very carcinogenic crap. So now, what are the benefits of viton that make it worth accepting this risk, miniscule though it might be? >What sort of numbnuts dumbf**k wrote this? The sarcasm is running rampant in >my head right now, but I'm at a loss for that perfect chip of wit that >would sum up my thoughts.
