Look at this another way... See if you can get oxygen (100%, under =
pressure) to have any reaction with helium or argon. They are both nobel =
gasses, which means they don't react (chemically) with anything. If it's =
not a reaction you're concerned about, any He or Ar left in the hose for =
the next fill would be insignificant. The helium would help and the argon =
wouldn't even amount to the trace that's already in the air. (78% =
nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and guess what the "lost" 1% is (mostly)?)
