This weekend I went on a recreational dive of no particular interest except that at the end of it, my wife said that my nose was distinctly blue. I was dumbfounded. There was nothing whatever unusual about this dive; old faithful mask, properly (loosely) adjusted, not deep (35 ft, 35 min), not cold (55+ F), dry suit, hood. No nasal congestion of any sort. There *was* significant surge, and we swam a lot. Does anyone have any ideas about this? I plan to dive deep next weekend, and I need to know whether I can expect my nose to explode or something. Tim
