I am new to this list and have so far learned quite a bit. However I have been wondering, more and more with every post I read, does anyone ever speak kindly of anyone else? I realize this is a list full of men and women that perform skills most of the diving world would never dream (i.e., have nightmares) about, but in diving, arrogance can kill you. I know a few people on this list, after my first post several people I know remarked "I see you found the tech list" and I have been informed that fights make up the bulk of the posts. They also tell me, if I stick around and can wade through the fighting I will learn a lot, so I intend to stick around for a while. As well I hope to soon find time to read through some archives, you can never learn to much. I'm on another list where the divers do thing most of the diving world would not dream of doing either. Yes, there are fights on occasion, but not often. For those of you who share that list with me, I am referring to the udt/runhopeswim fights. To sum up I wish to quote a poor, bruised, taxi driver, "can't we all just get along?"
