Greetings, I had a great trimix class last week. My instructor was Wings Stocks in Santa Cruz. He is the local guru for mix diving in the depths of Carmel/Monterey. We worked very hard, and learned a lot. After our dives, we were dopplered. I rarely bubbled, while my buddy Jim was the bubble-miester. However, when he changed his breathing pattern to allow for more ventilatory flushing of the deco gases, most of the bubbles disappeared. BTW, both My buddy Jim and I are in great physical shape. How noteworthy is it when one guy bubbles consistantly more than another? Is it correct to breath your deco gasses more heavily than when diving the bottom?
