You want to check your buoyancy at 6m with your tanks close to empty, to assure that you'll be able to maintain that depth without floating to the surface. If that's difficult (for some obscure reason), put a little extra weight on, so that you'll stay comfortably warm at the 6m stop. The point is that you shouldn't be overweighted!!
