JY, I just mean we don't allow beginning a dive with two deco tanks and one reg - that is what I meant by switching regs. Also, at the depths we dive , and given that we are in cave and have to keep moving, the gas everyone loses sitting still while one guy switches a reg puts the whole team at jeapardy, so what we do instead is have that guy pick up a safety bottle at the next depot instead of swtiching. With rebreather, you have time to switch.
