Not if you aren't using argon.  It is just unnecessary clutter if you don't 
need argon.

If you are using argon, it is attached with a strap to the left tank, 
upside down, as low as possible so the valve is even with the bottom of the 
tank.  An alternative is to mount in on the waist strap if you are using a 
small (6cuft) bottle, but I don't have any experience doing this.
