>Lead acid batteries of the kind used in diving lights are always >gel-cells (unless you have managed to really screw up and are using >motorcycle batteries or something). A common misconception. ALMOST NO DIVING BATTERIES ARE GELLED They are sealed lead acid. Example: The schumaker charger that comes with AUL and EE lights couldn't even come close to charging gel cells. Gelled lead acid batteries are charged at a different acceptance and float voltage that wet cells. I have an electronic charger I use for my light and scooter. If I were to set that charger on "gel" and hook it up to my light, it would totally destroy the batteries after a couple cycles. Go into any marine store and look at the nice two or three stage regulators for yachts. They all have either a setting range or a switch for gel vs. wet. ---------------------------------- Kevin Connell <kevin@nw*.co*> NW Labor Systems, Inc http://www.nwls.com Res tantum valet quantum vendi potest.
