I would imagine that cleaning out the fuel bunkers would be the 
hardest part. I've heard that it costs nearly $100,000 to prep 
a liberty ship as an artificial reef, and that's with a lot of 
volunteer labor.

Funny how everyone thinks the ideal place is near where THEY live. :-)
