Thanks for the response and info.  I have read
Colgan's Optimal Sports Nutrition about five years
ago. It is a great reference.  I was wondering what
tests you have done.  I know you have done the VO2 max
test.  Are there any others you reccomend?  

By the way, I have been incorporating a lot of DIR
into rock climbing. (My other hobby) I have really
been thinking out what is the easiest and most
sensible way to rig my gear so I don't fly off a rock
halfway up the mountain.
