HI Everyone Diving in Perth, Western Australia yesterday (specifically Rottnest Island) was great. Water temp at 25 metres was 23 degrees C with a 2 degree further drop below 40 metres. Air temperature on the boat a lovely 31 C. Slightly cooler due to ocean breezes at the Quoka Arms after the dive, or maybe that was the effect of the Emu Bitter. Water temperature at this time of the year varies 20-23 C. I dived a 3mm long arms/long leg one piece wetsuit and was very comfortable. Others on the boat were diving with less and still OK. The further north of Perth you go, the water gets warmer due to affects of the Leuwin Current. As you go south of Perth this affect is reversed.
