Sometimes I choose to dive without the cannister light in open water. I must admit it's dark and murky here in the Netherlands, but in an effort not to be too crazy... To keep the gear configuration as similar as possible to other dives I tried a small pocket filled with 3kg of lead as a replacement for the cannister. It's better than using a weightbelt as you would dump it the same way, have the same positioning for the longhose, and saves you from using the weightbelt unless you're using one anyway. Have others tried this or are there better solutions? Harmen +-------------------------------------------------------------+ | This message may contain confidential and/or privileged | | information.
