Subject: My final post dealing w/ Mr. Black

Dr. Black,
I said my last post to you would be my final one; however, I guess I've
fallen for the bait.

>Don't have a knipshin, but there really is a credibility problem with your
>data.

It is not my data, I did not do the calculations, I just presented the
information because that is where the thread took us.

> And given the checkered past and present of your rogue's gallery of
> divers, there very likely will always be a credibility problem.

Have you ever meet a member of the WKPP? The WKPP is composed of many
people, most of us are professionals, and everyone of us is quite nice and
willing to share information with those that ask. Our credibility can lie
on the track record of George and the team, sir.

>You and your team are looking for respect, and guess what Adolph, you
>ain't gonna get it.

I am not looking for respect as you put it, I am looking for new cave. The
Adolph commit was unnecessary and for all of those in the world that lost
loved ones due to Adolph, I sincerely hope you rot in hell you pestilent,
feeble minded bastard.

>You say the world of diving medicine isn't ready for you and your team,
>when in truth the world of diving medicine would welcome your
>accomplishments if only they looked even half-way credible.

Are you not an Ophthalmologist? How do you speak for the world of diving
medicine? They were not ready for us at that presentation because they are
conservative, they have to be.

>You say "the WKPP has amassed an amazing safety record, all the while
>doing dives that no one else in the world does." So are we supposed to
>believe this too, just like we're supposed to believe that oxygen
>exposures up to 20,000 percent are safe?

Why don't you pick up any magazine, watch any video, or talk to people that
cave dive, you will find your answers. You really must enjoy this to
continue to hold a failing position. I never said that exceeding the
"clock" was safe, I said we have done it somewhere between 15,000 and
20,000 percent. I guess you have not done your math or homework on this
subject.

>You are going to have to do a much better job of convincing the majority
>of disbelievers if you expect to get any kind of respect from the
>professional agencies you are so quick to chastise, and that very well
>might start with losing the militant, maverick attitude you so fondly
>cherish and display.

I do not have to do anything but dive sir. I began all of this posting so
people might learn, yet I am too busy answering you to put anything else
out there. I dive for fun, the agencies can do as they wish. The
"militant, maverick attitude" only surfaces when people like you are being
dealt with. Have you not read the numerous post about assistance that
people have received from members of the WKPP, they received no attitude.
Speaking of respect, I have had some of you comments on rec.scuba sent to
me unsolicited, people claim that you make as much of an ass of yourself
there as you have on this list. Do you really desire for me to prove that
point Mr "I do not advocate anything above 1.6, but in the unlikely event
that I got trapped with a higher mix, I know what I am dealing with"
Black? Do you know your nickname on rec.scuba is "Black the Quack"?

> I remain optimistic that you have much to contribute to dive safety, but
> until you start presenting data in a thoughtful, unobtrusive, and
> credible manner, your contributions will remain confined to the small
> group of elitists you think you are.

I don't think I am an elitist sir, I think I am lucky to dive with this
team; which means I do not have to dive with people like yourself.

> Good luck with your continued research, I suspect you're going to need it.

Thank you, but luck has nothing to do with it. Teamwork would be a good
place to look however.
I sir am done with you, and hope that most people by now have set up
filters to block your nonsense. However, you never did answer my question,
What have you done for diving lately?
