I am trying to keep from using the foul language that so amuses you, but
you make it difficult. The accomplishments of the WKPP are well
documented. I have been there and seen the dives they do. I can not
personally verify that they went 18,000' back into Wakulla since I wasn't
back there in person (I wouldn't consider myself qualified to do a fraction
of that), but I can confirm, personally, that they have gone into the
springs and not returned for 4-6 hours. I have personally witnessed 10-12
hours in water deco as a safety diver for the team.

Unless these guys have found a secret sinkhole where they go hang out,
drink beer and smoke cigarettes for 6 hours before returning to the Wakulla
basin then, even if you doubt their record cave penetrations, you have to
admit they spent 6 hours at 285-300' and safely decoed out in half the time
required by the USDCT in a dry chamber.

Absolutely. Who else in the world has done hundreds of dives over a span
of several years at depths of 300' with a comparable safety record. The
USDCT was there for 3 months and their record shows one death and one
really close call.

just like we're supposed to believe that oxygen
>exposures up to 20,000 percent are safe?

Well, they do the dives, don't get bent, and manage to maintain a level of
fitness that puts 99%+ of the population to shame. If they were suffering
lung damage from the high O2 exposures I doubt they could continue the
cardio training regimen they do.
