You know guys..... There are some of us on the list who, when starting down the technical path decided to look at who was doing the serious diving with an excellent record and learning from them, there are some of us who did not. There are some of us who asked questions from those doing it on a regular basis with an excellent safety record and learned their methods and procedures, there are some of us who did not. There are some of us who thought carefully about our equipment and sought advice from those doing it regularly with few, if indeed any, failure problems and there are some of us who got ripped off by our dive shop. There are some of us who listened to those who were willing to share real information and discuss it with us - information based on having been there and done that, and some of us who decided not to listen. At the end of the day, diving, like many other activities is a risky business. Some of us want to minimise that risk as much as possible, some of us do not. You really have to think about your diving and see where you fit into the scheme of things. Your choices and decisions will affect more than just yourself, so please make sensible ones.
