Hi, I'm a new reader of this group. The group introduction I was sent suggested I write a little about myself and diving. I do not consider myself a technical diver. But diving off the Oregon coast does present technical challenges. I have several hundred dives at last accounting. I am 45 years old and have been certified since 1974. I have a PADI C-card, and NAUI OW II and Advanced cards. I did a bunch of snag diving in fishing drifts in the 70's and raised a 35 foot sunken boat then too. I have been to Maui and Cozumel for tropical adventures too. I currently dive with a local group of instructors as a Dive Master. We dive mostly out of Newport Oregon. I dive a dry suit. Sometimes I like to hunt but I most often concerned with students and the duties implied when diving with them. This covers my diving costs. Steve - Stephen M.
