Just thought I start a new topic , I'm a bit tired of the posting , my eyes are OK and I know exactly how big MINE is(Don't need no glue ;- ) ). I just read Joel Silverstein account of diving the Doria and short history on the introduction of technical diving to wrecks in the "Sources" in the Jan. issue. Just to get something going here I will open up the topic of diving the "Ostfrisland" since he mentions it in his story as 360ft deep. I have dived it and the depth is in fact 379ft maybe even 385ft in the washout if you feel the need to put your depth gauge there. That is not what I want to talk about. Divers are preparing to do the 10th anniversary of the first dive to the wreck this year. I would like to talk of the first dive that was done to the wreck. I have talk to all 3 of the divers about the wreck and dive. I also was told of a possible poor choice of mixes for the dives and what it may have caused. Still I hear of this poor choice being made. Anyone remember the exact mixes they used? Capt JT -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
