(Note, I am not a medical professional.  I am expressing my understanding.)

The main concern from a medical perspective after LASIK surgery is to prevent 
infection, and avoid any trauma to the eye.  By trauma, I mean any foreign 
objects touching the eye.  Keeping water out of the mask and away from the 
eye is important to avoid infection.

I dove after two weeks, with the approval of my physician.
