We usually make an adaptor, using a cheap off-the-shelf NPT-to-tubing compression tube fitting available in any hardare store here, but probably hard to find elsewhere. You also need some sort of flow control since a SCUBA reg will be dumping the gas out at about 140psi/9bar and very high volume. Just a needle valve will do in a pinch but it's nice to know what the flow is. I have a homemade adaptor which has a cheap surplus needle valve and flow meter and adaptor so it goes on a SCUBA reg, which doubles as a gas sampler for analyzing. It cost about $10 to make - it's all in the Oxy Hacker. You can also use a BC QR adaptor, and use it with a reg with a BC hose one, >Im looking for a kind of adaptor to attach a diving o2 regulator with a >medical oxygen breathing mask. >I Don't wanna buy a complete medical oxygen kit since i have nearly >everything in its diving version >( 1st stage, regulator ) the reason i wanna do this in case i have an >unconscious diver. >Any ideas ? > >Manos > >-- >Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. >Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
