Manos, you are a constant source of amusement. You don't need these = ridiculous highland things, all you need is a vice. Take your flat Dring, = put it in the vice and beat it into submission. If you need drings, buy a = Transpac or Xtek, they have 20 or 30 drings on them, cut them all off and = you are set for life. I find it hard to believe that you cannot find = weight belt retainers anywhere on the island of Cyprus. The plastic ones = will work, they are not ideal but they will work.
