Im building my own Backplate and harness. I just couldnt find 2inch halcyon type chest Drings ( the one with the angle ) and metal slides noware in the island!! Anyone knows where i can order them from ? Anyway has anyone used the Hilander ones ? http://www.highland-millwork.com/products/hardware/hardware.html do those thinks provide a benefit because they are steady instead of floating on the harness ?? thats what they claim Readily accepts standard 2" webbing. May be comfortably located any where on the shoulder because of itÂ’s contoured back and locks positively on the web - will not slide down even with a load of stage bottles.
