Errrr, James, just why do you need this data? In Oz I would have thought
that a Din fitting is a Din fitting is a ...

Indeed that is _the whole point of_ DIN (_D_eutsche _I_ndustrie _N_ormen
- German Industrial Norms). First established, as I recall, in 1922.

Or am I missing something somewhere here? I vaguely seem to recall
someone saying that the precise diameter is _not_ ... ? I suspect I was
dreaming.

Anyway, mine seem to have operated quite efficiently for the last ten
years or so although I acknowledge that in the very early years a lot of
people about to fill my tanks stood around scratching their heads.
