Okay, I just gotta say something here. Actually a few things...
First, 15 days is barely enough time to do an instructor prep and
ITC...Forget the tech training. I teach it, and most aren't successful
unless they're already "REAL GOOD." I'd like to know what Course
Director and IT's are putting this one on. If they're successful, I
could sure learn a thing from them! *GRIN*
Second, Knowing what I do of the NAUI Tech approval process, I have a
hard time believing any of those tech instructor certs will go through.
Again, i'd sure like to know who the Workshop director is that's signing
those off. IANTD, now that's another story... we all know what they're
capable of.
Lastly, last time I checked, NAUI did not offer a "deep air" course.
Come to think of it, there's not a cert in my standards called
"technical instructor" either. Those both sound like IANTD and TDI
course names. Those in charge at NAUI Tec would likely choke on this
paperwork as it comes through. I'm sorry for anyone who spends their
$3000 plus dollars, only to find that the providers of the class are
full of crap.
If anyone has more info on who's putting this on, I'd love to know.
Perhaps it's time for me to surf on over to divingtravel.com....
