I'm not diving in caves but in the ocean which now is a 'balmy' 4 degrees C. The way _I_ see it there _is_ a problem with really cold water. The electric heater/chemical heater route is probably not DIR (though I am somewhat contemplating the latter) so that leaves only insulation though various fabrics. I dive the CF200 (which is warmer than the TSL) with polypropylene & 400 g Thinsulate (an a wooly vest) but I am still cold. Due to my skinny frame I have to apply Option No. 1 on longer dives in winter. Please let me know if you find any good hints. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
