I'm not diving in caves but in the ocean which now is a 'balmy' 4 degrees 
C. The way _I_ see it there _is_ a problem with really cold water. The 
electric heater/chemical heater route is probably not DIR (though I am 
somewhat contemplating the latter) so that leaves only insulation though 
various fabrics. I dive the CF200 (which is warmer than the TSL) with 
polypropylene & 400 g Thinsulate (an a wooly vest) but I am still cold.

Due to my skinny frame I have to apply Option No. 1 on longer dives in 
winter. Please let me know if you find any good hints.
