Uhhhhh, to jump into the fray before any of the other Aussies, even billy, gets into the act. This ain't a small country, its the same size as the continental US, except there's a whole lotta less people and a whole lotta more desert. Darwin, where Jeffrey is complaining about things like boarding ladders, is a whole-lotta-north-of-Synney where Billy and I are sorta neighbours. Jeffrey is _only_ talking about his neck of the woods, kinda like referring to Rockland, Maine vis a vis LA. Incidentally we do have some decent ladders in this part of the world, have a look at the (miserable) website of the private, fiercely independent, dive club I belong to at <http://www.cci.net.au/scuba/index.html>. In the main pic, to the right of the ugly old guy with the weird hat on standing starboard rear (me), you can see the bottom (when lowered) of our halfway decent ladder which you can climb, with fins, no trouble at all.
