	The best report on Sheck's last dive that I have seen is accessed by

The article was co-written by Jim Bowden and Ann Kristovich that were there,
and Dr Bill Hamilton and Dr Daugherty. Dr Hamilton is well known to this
list and Dr Daugherty specializes in Diving Medicine.

As for Sheck breaking rules, didn't he break just about all of them,
including his own "Don't dive deep in caves."  Regarding the Zacaton
dive in 1994, it is my understanding that Exley and Bowden were
within sight of each other for most of the descent.  At 925 feet,
Bowden could no longer see Sheck who was below him, and began his
ascent solo.  Exley's body surfaced three days later.  MJB
