I'm not sure that there are many rules of thumb as such that you can use for
Decoplan. I just came up with this one as a means to explain GF's from a
particular angle to people when I was talking about the theory.

I guess if there is 1 rule of thumb that I'd really like you to remember
it's - take it carefully and slowly. As I said in my previous post, know
yourself and how you react to deco. Some people out there can do very
aggressive deco's and walk away from the dive with no adverse affects,
others cannot and this applies regardless of what deco model you use. At
the end of the day, it's your own physiology that determines how far you can
push it.

Remember that we have spent 2 years diving this and have found values that
work well for us - they may not work well for everyone so I strongly
recommend that you start conservatively. Decoplan was not designed to get
you out of the water faster, it was designed to improve safety and reduce
the risk of bubble formation with the proper implementation of deep stops.

Sorry if I seem to harp on about this, but I'd hate to see anyone get bent
because they started running agressive schedules.

Best,
John.
