andrew, i find it very amusing that you could be so critical about some
other agency and make it so public on this list. you should clean up your
own back door steps first. you being a gue and dir type instructor and you
don't even practice what you teach. you teach your students to non dir ways
when you have the knowledge and power to teach them the correct ways from
the start. instead you teach them a ssi course and pdic course because they
tout buying all the wrong gear from you in their courses. by teaching it
that way you can sell way more gear and then your customers can spend more
money with you when they want to dir. i see your customers at les davies
pier doing the open water dives in stroke gear. i also see your store
functions all the stroke gear you sell your customers after they're
certified. is this personal choice or does this just make you more money
like the other stores around your area regardless of which agency they
choose to teach by? i also see you use deep air when your store goes on
trips to sechelt b.c. canada. using deep air is so strokish and when you do
it with customers that were up partying until the wee hours really kind of
makes the effects even better. maybe this is what ssi or pdic teaches
because i'm sure that gue and dir doesn't include this kind of behavior. or
is this another case of personal choice? i in know way am attacking gue or
dir. i think this way of diving, is the future of diving, but i think being
a hypocrite is even a lower form of life than being a padi instructor. at
least most of them don't know any better. gee why are you so bitter against
padi, did they flunk you in one of their instructor courses?
