Glen and Melinda,

It's been brought to my attention that one of your sites is publishing
copies of my web pages with neither permission nor attribution.  This is

THEFT, pure and simple, and I will not stand for you stealing my work
to drive hits to the commercial site operated by Divers Discount Supply.


Any temporary "success" individuals acting on your level may experience
by shafting the world around them is fleeting.  In an age where
consumers
can search the Net and discover a pattern of deceit like the one you are

conducting (see deja.com), your manner of business is self destructive.
It is only a matter of time before those who deal with you will learn
the
hard lesson -- it NEVER pays to do business with dishonest people.

In short, I want nothing to do with you.  To that end I am demanding
your immediate compliance with the following points, which my attorney
will send formally within a week:


  1) Eliminate any web pages on sites owned or maintained by
     you that are derived in whole or in part from my work.
     This includes, but is not necessarily limited to:

     http://tekdiver.com/boltsnap.asp
     http://tekdiver.com/divinghog.asp

  2) Eliminate any link or reference to me or my work from
     any web pages on sites owned or maintained by you.  This
     includes both the visible text on the web pages and any
     hidden text including but not limited to the "keywords"
     and "description" META tags.  Such references include
     but are not limited to my name, the URLs of any of my
     web pages, and the term "caverig".


  3) Resubmit all URLs in #1-2 to any and all public search
     engines in which they are now indexed.


  4) Desist from any further use of or reference to me or my
     work, in the manners described in #1-2 or in any other
     electronic or printed form.


  5) Submit to me in writing a statement of compliance with
     #1-3, and your agreement to continue to comply with #4.


Parenthetically, I find supreme irony in the fact that one of the pages
you've stolen addresses character.  This is absolutely pathetic, and
borders on hilarity.  Are you actually unaware what type of character
is demonstrated by thievery and dishonesty?

Please consider that a rhetorical question.
