George, Thanks for the great discussion on deco diving. I have a few questions. It certainly breaks our paradigm and also changes Mr. Hamiltons quote of "what works, works" to "what works, George can make better. Will the "80% in atmospheres" starting point for decompression be the same regardless of the max depth of the dive? Most of the gas dives I do are in the Great Lakes between 150ft and 250ft with bottom times between 20 and 30 minutes. Since the 70' stop is maxed out on time to take advantage of an open Oxygen window, Do you max out your time on the 100' bottle as well if you are using it? I think I misunderstood your answer regarding breaks as deco time. If I have a 30 minute stop at 10' and I take a 6 minute break is my total time at 10' 30 minutes or 36 minutes? (I was taught 36) In rough, open water conditions how would you adjust your shallower stops? What about preconditions such as really cold (40degree) water? Finally, If I am doing repedative dives at shallow depths (above 100') what changes would I have to make to my profile if I was diving air on the reped dives?\ Thanks again for the patience with the less experienced. I appreciate it. Rich -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
