Ben, Make sure you check out the cavelist, also. You can read the archives at http://www.aquanaut.com/bin/mlist/aquanaut/cavers/new Don't even think about trying to subscribe though, this hasn't been possible for almost a year <g>. You may be surprised to find that all cave qualifications are not accepted in all places. Recent posts from the person who operates one popular system near Tallahassee, Madison Blue, shows TDI cards as not being accepted, so factor that in to your decision as to which agency to take training with. When it comes to which agency, let me toss out the traditional disclaimer on this subject: it's the instructor, not the agency. That being said, I haven't heard of GUE, NACD or NSS-CDS cards being turned down anywhere. Personally, I got my training with GUE in Florida, and was very satisfied them, I strongly recommend them. You can check out their web site at www.gue.com and look at their "classroom" section. Good luck with the training, Rich L ----- Original Message ----- From: Ben Wiseley <wiseleyb@ya*.co*> To: <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 04, 2000 11:21 AM Subject: Cave training > Hi, > > I'm new to the mailing list and had some questions > about Cave training. > > I was looking for recommendations of places to do my > training.
