Hello George,

I'd like to say thanx for your patience in explanation of this issues
and your will to reveal your findings.

The sample dive to 220ft/25min was great example. And I'm sure all of us
want to continue this. And at the end we would like to know how to create
deco profile in your way for most of ours dives - which I think can be
limited with gas we (I) usually carry - 30L-24L (200-160cuft) back gas +
deco gas.
It would help if you can explain methods how to adjust Z-plan profile
to be close to your way.

Here I try to write some basic rules (guidelines) which I figured out from
your
posts (apply to dives which mentioned above):

- descent rate -> in the 50 fpm range
- bottom gas -> helium- the more the better, ideal mix would be heliox
- bottom gas -> PpO2 , the longer is deco on high PpO2 the lower it should
be in bottom gas (typicaly 1 - 1.2 ???)
- bottom gas -> max END is 100ft, lower is better
- ascent rate in depth -> 30 fpm, or the equivalent of a 20 second stop
every ten feet from the bottom
- deco -> start at 80% of the profile in atmospheres
- deep stops -> usually 40 seconds per "stop" from 80% of the profile.
Longer dive = longer deep stops up to 5 minutes per "deep stop" in anything
approaching saturations
- deep stops -> to move out the gas without seeing bubbles deep
- deco gas -> trimix with high PpO2, (ideal mix would be heliox ???)
- deco gas -> start with 50%O2 is better than 32-35%O2
- deco gas -> first stop with high PpO2 gas longer to use wide oxygen window
and let blood circulate new gas
- deco stop on oxygen -> 12-13 minute with 6-8 minutes off (???)
- ascent from last stop -> very slow, from 3fpm to 1 fpm for long dives

Please correct me If I'm wrong.
It would be helpfull to go througt few similar examples (e.g. 260ft/20min,
200ft/30min)

Best Regards
